Vadodara: MS University signed three MoUs this week. The first memorandum of understanding was signed between the House of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mumbai and the University Department of Persian, Arabic and Urdu, said Prof. Vanisha Nambiar, deputy director of the office. of international affairs and responsible for international exchanges and cooperation.
As a result of the MoU, the department offers to organize programs, seminars and workshops in collaboration with Iranian Culture House, Mumbai, said Dr Ghayasuddin, head of Persian language.
In addition, joint activities such as Iranian Film Festival, research on the influence of Persian language and literature on Gujarati language and literature, exhibition on Iranian arts and culture, and courses and workshops Short-term online certificate program to promote Persian language and literature will be conducted.
Two other MoUs have been signed with the International Institute of Beliefs and Values ​​(IBAVI) at Western Washington University (WWU) and other institutes interested in establishing an IBAVI section.
Professor Shagufa Kapadia of the Department of Human Development and Family Studies and other staff members have been affiliated with IBAVI for over a decade now. She is also a member of the IBAVI Advisory Board.
“There will be many benefits for the students, faculty and the institution of this alignment as well as for the entire IBAVI network around the world,” she said.
With this MoU, MSU is also part of an International Consortium of Applied Global Studies (AGS). The consortium includes eight countries including the United States, India, Japan, Sweden, Australia, Spain, Ghana and Chile.
